My research centres on black-hole physics and quantum gravity: the quantum structure of spacetime, information at horizons, and the links between theories of gravity and observable phenomena.
Research interests
Black holes & quantum gravity
Effective black-hole spacetimes in loop quantum gravity, and the influence of quantum corrections on particle motion, orbital structure, and black-hole physics.
Horizons, information & thermodynamics
The black-hole information paradox, islands and entropy, alongside the topological structure of black-hole thermodynamics and its physical meaning.
Gravitational phenomena & tests
Spinning-particle dynamics, tidal responses and analogue gravity, as well as solar-system constraints on nonlocal theories of gravity.

Scholarly exchange & collaboration
I welcome conversations about these questions, the exchange of ideas, and possibilities for joint research. I value the patient work of understanding a question as much as the search for an answer.
